The player app

Zonexify on the screen you already own

IBO Player is the single application we support, and it reaches further than most: Android boxes and phones, Fire TV, Windows, macOS, Linux, and native builds on Samsung and LG televisions. Whichever one you install it on, the grid, the guide and the on-demand shelf look and behave the same.

One device is authorised per subscription. Moving to a different screen later is a free rebind, not a new purchase.

What the app gives you

Six things that decide whether a player is pleasant to live with or quietly infuriating.

📺

Reaches closed-platform televisions

Samsung Tizen and LG webOS sets get a proper native app from their own content stores — no sideloading, no USB stick, no dongle plugged into the back of the television.

🔒

Encrypted delivery

Your line is transmitted over encrypted connections and activation happens through the player portal rather than being typed into a shared screen with a remote control.

📅

A 14-day guide built in

The programme guide is pulled from the line automatically and mapped per country, so a German channel carries German listings without you configuring anything.

🔃

Updates itself

The app checks for new builds on its own. Playback stability improvements arrive without you hunting down an installer every few months.

⭐

Favourites and search

Pin the channels you actually watch to a favourites row and filter the rest by name — essential once 19,500 channels are sitting in the line-up.

🔑

Parental control

Lock entire categories behind a PIN, which matters on a living-room television that children also use.

Where to get it, platform by platform

The install route differs by device. This table tells you which one applies to you before you start — and the help centre covers what to do if your model is older than the versions listed.

Inside the app

Four sections, and that is the whole interface

The dashboard keeps things deliberately plain. There is no store to browse, no upsell banner and no recommendation engine getting in your way.

  • Live TV — the full channel grid with categories, preview window and programme guide
  • Movies — the on-demand film shelf, sorted by genre, language and release year
  • Series — complete season runs kept together so episodes stay in order
  • Catch Up — recent programming from the major national broadcasters

Worth knowing before you install: the player has no recording function and no split-screen mode. Neither is relevant to a single-device subscription, but we would rather you heard it from us.

About the licence fee

IBO Player is made by IBODEV, not by us, and it carries a small one-off licence charge after an initial evaluation window — a few euro for a year or roughly double for a permanent licence, paid directly to the developer by card or cryptocurrency.

It is not bundled into your Zonexify subscription because we do not resell someone else's software — our plan prices cover the service only. Support will point you at the right page if you need a hand with it.

Getting the best picture out of it

Four adjustments that make a visible difference on most setups.

Switch the Live TV layout preset

The default screen style crowds channel names under the preview window. Changing it in the player's screen settings fixes the crowding and lines the guide up properly.

Hide the categories you never open

Use Manage Categories to hide country folders you do not watch. Eight relevant folders beat forty irrelevant ones every single evening.

Prefer Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi

Budget roughly 15 Mbps where Full HD is your normal viewing, rising towards 25 Mbps once 4K feeds are involved. In an apartment building, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi is usually the real culprit behind evening stutter.

Clear the cache when artwork goes stale

If posters stop loading or a category refuses to refresh, clearing the cache from Settings resolves it without reinstalling anything.

Install the app, then bring a line

The player is ready in minutes. The intro month is €7.99 and carries the full European grid from the first launch.
